Students needing credit recovery may be contacted by the counselors to take these classes, but parents are encouraged to reach out to counselors for more information.  Our online credit recovery courses are managed by Kate Hartline.  If your student is currently taking an Edgenuity course and has any questions, please reach out at the contact information below.

Alternative Education Options

Colleges and universities are expanding options for students, and Rock Canyon is embracing these options as well. Within Rock Canyon, we offer CTE courses in Emergency Services (EMT/Fire Science, Criminal Justice) as well as courses in Engineering, Biotechnology and Multimedia.  RCHS students can also take CTE courses in other strands at high schools across the district.

In addition, RCHS students can meet with their counselor to get information on other schools within DCSD to explore alternative paths to graduation.

Finally, DCSD offers an eLearning option through eDCSD.  If you are interested in eDCSD course options, please see your counselor.
